xfinity customer service is non-existent

Their phone support hung up on me for no reason. Their "assistant" questions and answers are stupid and never answer actual issues. Their phone support hung up on my a second time. Thota disappeared. I asked a simple question. They insisted I text their 1-800 number. Ramisetti answered and talked a lot of cheery nonsense then disappeared without explanation after five minutes. Than another Indian guy came on and disappeared after 15 minutes without answering my question.

Is there any way to contact corporate and get their VP of customer service fired?

Thank you for reaching out to us here @memekiller. I am sorry to hear of your experience with the customer service team, and I will be happy to answer any questions you have on your account from here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

Given the myriad of complaints about the utter lack of customer service with this company I am in shock that it is allowed to continue to do business. Yesterday I spent more than two hours trying to talk to a human being to no avail. I've concluded they've set it up so one cannot do this. As soon as Frontier opens up service in our area (they've been laying cable) I'm going to drop this service--and I mean switch immediately, o matter if it costs more. I'm on automatic bill paying with Xfinity so I can simply close off their access to my payments. That said, I have no idea how to return their modem. They can sue me for all I care.

I have never experienced a company that's this terrible. It's like a Kafkaesque nightmare.
