Xfinity Customer Service is a total joke
3 days with no internet. Spent 4 hours trying to get to a person, because the automated trash system kept telling me things were working fine. When I got to a person, I was promised a technician next day from 1 to 3. They never showed. Another hour trying to get someone to tell me why and what I could do to get someone here to fix it. I was then told 3 to 5. No one showed. I have wasted about 8 hours now trying to communicate with xfinity. Still no resolution. I was also promised a call back ny a manager. 2 days later, no call from a manager. No sense of urgency. Lies by the people you talk to who just throw you back into the automated que, despite promising to connect you to a person or manager. This is miserable. Both income earners work from home, so working internet is a must. When I asked what the tech people do when their internet goes out, they said they don't get paid. Same situation here, but no empathy and no resolution. Any other option is better than xfinity.

Hey there! I understand that what you are going through is frustrating. Our team here through the Xfinity Community forums will do our very best in helping you out. Can you please send us a private message with your full name and full service address? To send the requested information:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support"
there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.
• Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
