Xfinity charged me for a late payment while i had working bank info on my account

Hi,

I received notice that I had an overdue payment - I sign into my account, expecting there to be an expired card or something. Instead, my account is linked to my checking account and when I go to do a payment- it works perfectly. I had autopay set up and never had an issue like this in the past. I go to check my autopay, it is randomly disabled. I re-enable autopay.

Why was my autopay disabled, giving me an extra 50 dollar charge, when I had perfectly functional payment information on my account?

Moreover, trying to speak to a real person at xfinity is a nightmare. This is an incredibly customer hostile company.

I tried calling three times repeating over and over I wanted a live agent, to no avail- xfinity just hangs up and make me speak endlessly with a stupid robot.

Then, I go to chat. The virtual assistant will not let me speak to a live agent and gives me irrelevant options. I repeat my question again and again. It admits it CANNOT FOLLOW THE CONVERSATION and then still gives me no option to speak to a live agent.

This isn't even customer service- it's brainless robot outsourcing. I am ready to quit xfinity.
