Xfinity cable across my aggregate driveway

Comcast tech ran a new black cable with orange flags every few feet across my yard, over my aggregate driveway and attached a new box to the side of the house. We saw him out the window but assumed he was working on the neighbor’s house. He left without notifying us what he was doing. How long will this tripping hazard be there and will they bore under my driveway to bury the cable? I can’t get Xfinity to respond.

Normally, if a new pedestal or lock box is installed with a temporary line ran, our maintenance team would be assigned and scheduled to complete the work as soon as possible, though they are commonly provided a 2 week window, depending on other existing jobs or emergencies that may come up. Because it is a safety concern, we can report it to the local teams to help escalate making sure it is properly cared for. Thank you for your reply. We can avoid the temporary cable until it is buried, but it was run across the aggregate driveway. Will they be able to bore under without damaging it?
