Xfinity Assistant.

The robot refuses to transfer me to an agent for technical support. The Xfinity assistant seems clueless. Cannot give info, but keeps insisting it will help. Will not transfer me to live agent. My device does not do apps and my phone does not text. How do I get a live agent either on the phone or the chat box?

Okay. What must I say to the phone robot who will not put me through to an agent to get her to do it? And what must I write in the chat box to get the robot assistant to do the same?. Neither offer any useful information related to problems; why would I be contacting them if there was no problem. I have tried over and over and am ready to cancel.

I am happy to see you are taking advantage of the amazing help here. I know how important it is to get the best service asap whether on the phone or online. Just like the Xfinity assistant. It is a great resource to help troubleshoot or make any changes to the account online. I think it is awesome as I can check my bill, and also reset the modem if needed. That ensures I have the latest updates to stay protected and makes me happy. The Xfinity app is great as well if you are not able to reach an agent on the phone. Regarding your questions, the Xfinity Assistant will get you in touch with an agent successfully. It will offer the option if you select that the issue or concern is not resolved while it troubleshoots. The phone will do so as well and get you in touch with an agent once the account information is verified. You can also let me know what is happening, and we will all work to assist together. Either you did not read my comment or you are working undercover for the Xfinity assistant. Neither of the robots (phone or chat) do any of the things you say they do when I phone. If they did I would not be seeking help on this forum.

user_hz8l92 We are just here to help as much as possible. Can you provide a few more details of what you mean by your phone doesn't do apps? Are you having issues with specific or all your phone apps? Are you receiving an error code or message when trying to access them?
