Xfinity Assistant

Put that poor "AI" out of its misery. It has never been useful once and all it does is serve to increase your frustration. So that your poor CS reps just get more frustrated people and serve to decrease your reputation with CS. As far as your website goes. It is by far the worst designed website I have ever seen. If you want to see anything about your plan you get bombarded with Ads to upgrade. Even once you get past the Ads to upgrade the information provided is beyond useless. I cannot fathom the mind of the manager/C-level director who asked the poor website creator to do this. Take a course in Marketing. Ads work sure, but they work because you associate them with positive feelings. If I am submitting myself to your god forsaken website looking for information about my plan, do you think i am in a happy mood? No. Will bombarding me with Ads at that point create positive feelings towards your brand? no. Then when i give up and go to the Xfinity assistant and it directs me back to all of the ads. Is that creating positive associations with your brand? Save some money and hire a first year marketing student and they will tell you that. Once you can actually contact a CS rep things go great until the C-levels strike again through policies forcing these CS reps to take all of their hard work in rebuilding your brand and flush it straight down the toilet by asking if i want to sign up for a new "deal." Are c-level executives paid by ad or something? It would atleast make sense....

God I couldn’t agree more!  Instead of Xfinity Assistant it should be called Xfinity disaster! I had a digital cable box that for whatever reason needed to be reactivated.  I went to the new Xfinity App thinking I could do whatever I needed to do there.  That whole App is geared towards dealing with internet problems.  The Xfinity connect app they’re getting rid of was 10 times better.  On that app you could see all of your individual cable boxes, send refresh signals to them individually, etc.  The new App is TOTAL GARBAGE!  Long story short I ended up trying Xfinity assistant for help.  There was no clear option to choose for the problem I was having.  As a result I was in an endless loop with a virtual assistant that I wanted to completely strangle after 20 minutes.  I somehow found the secret code to speak to an actual human being and in no more than 2 minutes the CSR did whatever they needed to do and I was watching TV again.  I’m praying to god I never need to use Xfinity Assistance for anything ever again!  As a matter of fact I refuse to use it.  People paying over $300 a month for cable service deserve definitely deserve better!
