Xfinity Assistant Won't Let Me Schedule An Appointment

I've been having technical issues with my internet service for a few weeks now and it got to the point where the troubleshooting part of the Xfinity Assistant offered to schedule an appointment for a technician to cone out but whenever I get to that point I get "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again" over and over and over again. Please help.

It is such a handy tool to manage your account and services :).
Since the assistant already confirmed you will need an appointment with a technician, I will help you set that up. Please send a direct message to Xfinity Support by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Include your name and address in the body of the message so I can find your account and help set up an appointment.
