Xfinity App/ complaint

Hello.

1)  Why did you all wait until Dec. 2023 to announce there was a data breach when you knew about it back in Oct.2023?  2)  Why am I paying for a new Iphone if your Xfinity app does not even work on my phone?  I have to call each time I want to make an update to my network.  I should not have to call you if I am paying for internet services & mobile services to update. 

3) Your chat box [Edited: "Language"].  I have to request a human because chatbot keeps taking me in circles.  When I do actually get a person on the phone, especially this last time, I had to speak to 4 people before the issue with internet was resolved. 

I do not have confidence that my data is secure nor do I feel like my home network is secure after you withheld information about the data breach. 

I honestly do not know if I want to stay with Xfinity... very discouraged.

Hello Xfinity,

Please advise on the following because it will determine whether or not I want to continue Internet service with you.  As I have mentioned earlier:

1)  Your Xfinity app does not work on my Iphone that I purchased from you all. 

2)  So, why am I paying for a phone that I have purchased from you all, if I cannot even access your app to contact you all for troubleshooting events?  

3)  Anytime I want to update my wifi network information, I am unable to do this on my own: I have to call you each time 

Please advise on the best course of action to get these challenges resolved.  Otherwise, I may be looking for another internet provider altogether.

Hello, @user_dft9sa. Thanks for reaching our team regarding your service concerns. What happens when you try to login to the Xfinity app? Are you getting an error message? Are you experiencing issues with your phone to access any other apps and are you able to use your iPhone for any other purpose? 
Regarding your network, do you have your own modem or are you renting an Xfinity modem?
