Xfin Mobile : wrong phone assigned to different line

I have a phone assigned to RealPerson 1 which is NOT the phone that he actually has. I read that the phone causing the problem needs to have its IMEI completely deleted from the backend database. I've spent 15 hours over the last 4 days, having an agent, not me, who has these two phones, trying to get this corrected. No good, no how, no way, direct appeal to supervisor was not accomplished. I don't know how I'll even see a reply from this forum. Apparently, this issue affects my ability to return a phone that I paid for but never activated, due to error in customer service.
