XFi Complete evaluation email

I contacted support last week and was promised that I would receive my wifi evaluation email by Thursday, Feb 6.  It has been over a week and I still have not received said email.  Xfinity Assistant is a joke!  It can't answer the question about the evaluation email and it won't transfer me to somebody who can!  Before I signed up for xFi complete I read the information on the evaluation process.  So far everything said in that document has proven to be false.  If you are no longer doing the wifi evaluations you should let people know that before they sign up for xFi Complete.

@user_8bf7v7 The whole home evaluation is still an active feature of the xFi Complete but the plan offers much more than just the potentially free WiFi Boost pod. If you believe you have some coverage issues we would have you follow the steps outlined in our WiFi Boost Guarantee overview article. That guarantee states you will need to be in Gig, Gigabit Extra and Gigabit x2 internet speed plans to qualify. If you're wanting a wired connection for the best connection in another room you can purchase a WiFi Boost pod here or use any 3rd party access point to connect to the Xfinity Wireless Gateway to extend coverage and provide a physical connection.

You didn't tell me why I did not get the evaluation email.

  • You’ll receive an email highlighting the benefits of xFi Complete and notifying you that the Whole Home WiFi evaluation has begun within one day of activating the Gateway.

I never received that email so I contacted support.  I was told the evaluation was active and that I would receive the email with the results by 2/6/2025.

  • After the Whole Home evaluation is complete, the results are sent to the primary email address on file.

I never received that email either.

I know how to find and read articles about resolving coverage issues and about purchasing a boost pod if I feel so inclined.  What I really want is the promised results from the evaluation first.
