X-Class service
I got an email about upgrades in my neighborhood. Does this mean X class will be available?
Here is what the message says:
Bringing customers like you the ultimate internet experience is always our number one priority. In the coming days, we'll be doing work in your neighborhood to continue the evolution of our next-generation Xfinity network. This will ultimately allow us to offer equally fast, multigigabit upload and download speeds and is yet another example of how our network is constantly evolving so you can have a powerful connection today and a faster, more reliable tomorrow.

Hello @user_zmo8bv, and thank you for reaching out to us for assistance this evening. We are working hard and fast to update all of our internet locations around the country. Although every location is different, we will have to wait until the updates are complete to confidently tell you what new services you are capable of receiving. If you like I can look into your account now and see if there has been adjustments made. How does that sound?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Note the presence of the weasel word "ultimately". In the context here, it means "someday".
When will that be? A week? Six months? Five years? Never? Who knows!

Does your neighborhood currently have mid splits with upload speeds in the 100-300 range? If not, that's likely what this is referring to. I guess in some areas they might go straight to docsis 4.0 x-class, but mid splits is usually the first stepping stone because hardware requirements are less (node / amp changes).
