XB8-T coverage is very limited in my house

I started my account with Xfinity couple of days ago and after activating the router I'm getting weak or no connection if stand in my garage or in a bedroom on 2nd floor of my house.  I called xfinity 800 support line and talked about the Pro account I have and the boost guarantee it offers where it explicitly states that I qualify for "free" two extenders.  The rep on the phone tells me the extenders are not "free"!  I told him this is what your website and the boost guarantee policy states but to no avail.  Same situation happened when I went to the local xfinity store.  Now, I think this whole guarantee policy is a scam to attract new customers.
