Hello, @tommazzga. The XB8 is here! Key Features include:

-Supports latest generation WiFi technology, WiFi 6E and extension of 802.11ax (WiFi 6) to the 6 GHz band.

-Supports High Split DOCSIS network (US 5 MHz-204 MHz; DS 258 MHz-1.2 GHz) for broadband residential devices, in addition to low and mid split.

-Designed to improve speed, increase efficiency and reduce congestion in heavy bandwidth usage scenarios.

-Allows more devices to connect and stream simultaneously, without affecting speed or reliability.

-ZigBee and Bluetooth technology to support IoT devices.

-1024 QAM support for greater throughput on compatible 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz clients.

@XfinityThomasA

How do I get an XB8? I am a gigabit internet customer who’s been with Xfinity several years. Thanks!

Hello @kpgolfman! Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your night to leave a post on our community forum. I would be more than happy to see if our amazing new XB8 is available in your area and if you meet the requirements to receive one. If you could send our team a private message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you!

To send a Private Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a live chat.
