XB8 and wifi channel change

I've read most forums and I see the XB8 is managing channels automatically. Is there any way to turn off the auto manage so I can try a different channel. I am trying to troubleshoot a camera with connection problems even though it has a strong wifi signal. I was thinking it might be neighbors interference and would like to see if a different channel would help. unfortunately I haven't found a wifi scanner app that works on I phone showing congestion by channel but I know a lot of gateways choose 6 as default channel and wanted to try a different one

Hi user_511u81! Thanks for taking the time to visit our Xfinity Forum. We appreciate you being a customer, and please know my team is always here to support you. The XB8 Gateways are managed automatically to optimize network performance, and these settings are not visible or manageable through the Xfinity app or Admin Tool. Unfortunately, it appears that there is no option to disable managed network performance directly for the XB8.

That [Edited: "Language"]! Not allowing customers to manage their own wifi channels renders other electronics in my home obsolete. I need a 2.4 GHz channel to use my smart plugs and my robot vacuum. What is the point of taking this feature away?
