XB3 to XB6 Upgrade

Hi,

I’m currently using the XB3 modem with a 400 Mbps download and 35 Mbps upload plan. I’d like to check if it’s possible to upgrade to the XB6 modem for better performance and compatibility. Could you let me know the process and if there are any costs involved?

You can follow the link here, and if your account is eligible for an upgrade, it will prompt you through getting the equipment shipped to you. You can also visit a retail store to swap out the device, or we can work with you on ordering a new modem too. If you would like to visit a store, you can schedule an appointment following the steps here. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it
