Hi. I have Gigabit X2 Internet. How do I get the new XB10 Gateway?

From what i have told on the phone and chat you have to have a truck roll for the XB10 for a cost of $100 unless they can ship one to you.

Hi user_401404, thanks for reaching out on our Xfinity Forum. We value your time and appreciate you being a customer with us. My team is here to support you with this XB10 concern. There are two options to receive the XB10 (self-install kit or Pro install), depending on which X-Class Internet speeds you have. 

 

I do want to clarify that XB10 modems are only being provided to customers who have X-Class internet. X-Class internet is where you have symmetrical speeds of 1 Gig up and 1 Gig down (for example). 

 

If you do not have X-Class speeds at this time, please know we are working to deliver the best internet experience possible to all our customers, and stay tuned for future announcements from Xfinity.

My plan is 2100Mbps down and 300 Mbps up its called the Gigabit x2 PLan.  I thought this was the fastest offered this isn't XClass?  I would like to get the XB10 if I can.  Please let me know if I can jump on a list.

Great question user_401404! Those speeds may be the fastest in your area, but our X-Class Xfinity Internet speeds are only available to eligible Xfinity Internet customers in select neighborhoods across the Comcast footprint. Your current speeds are not eligible for the XB10, but I would be more than happy to see if our X-Class Xfinity Internet speeds are available in your area. If they are, and you switch to a plan including those speeds, you would then be eligible for the XB10. To double-check if our X-Class Xfinity Internet speeds are available in your area, please send us a Direct Message. Here are the detailed steps to direct message us: 

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary
 • Click the "Direct Message icon” (upper right corner of this page)
 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the To line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 • Press Enter to send your message
