Wrong Caller ID appearing on Comcast numbers

When I call a Comcast phone number, the wrong caller ID name appears on the receiver's end. I have had my (Verizon) phone number for over 20 years.  My parents are elderly and I need them to know when it's ME calling, not "Joel Vernier" - who apparently lives in South Carolina (nor do I need to get his spam texts).  I need this fixed now. I have already spoken to Verizon and it is NOT on their end.

Hello, @user_kigjud thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I completely understand wanting to get the Caller ID information updated to reflect the correct information. I did want to help get the proper expectations set up that we can only update Xfinity Caller ID information that would be associated with one of our numbers. We utilize the Caller ID information that is provided by the compay of who owns the number, this is called a CNAM.

From working with our Xfinity Voice support teams in the past, they have let me know that at times the Caller ID information may be provided by a 3rd party, and this can be updated through a 3rd party CNAM listing. I would recommend reaching back out to Verizon support team since it sounds like they may own the number, and ask for the CNAM to be looked at again. You can also Google 3rd party CNAM update to find where you can update that on your own as well.
