Wow! Customer Service TRICKERY.

My day with Xfinity just keeps getting worse.  I posted early today about my experience with 5 people on chat and 3 or 4 people on the phone.

I was on my way out the door and it was someone from Xfinity asking my about my earlier experience with the last person I talked to, because they gave their name.  The person on the phone calling now had a foreign accent.  The person they were calling about had also been a foreigner, but they used a phone app to disguise their voice.  I could tell that it was somehow computerized and even called them out on it.  They said Xfinity had them do that to help with the phone system and be easily understood.  I have a solution for that.  HIRE STATESIDE.  So, for all I know, the person calling now could have been the previous person without the filtering.

Anyway, they asked me about my service and I said the issue wasn't resolved so I wasn't very happy. I also told them I was on my way out and I needed to get off the phone.  They told me for my trouble today, they would issue me a $50 credit and that I just needed to text the number 10 to a number they gave me.  As I was trying to leave I did this.  But then I noticed this was on a string of texts I had received throughout the day from Xfinity.  The text right before the one they had me send stated this: "Hi, Xfinity here!  Please provide feedback on your most recent experience with Xfinity.  Thinking about your phone call with us, how likely are you to recommend Xfinity to friends & family?  Reply from 0 Not at all Likely to 10 Extremely Likely.  So, I unknowingly gave them a 10!  Totally deceptive and shady.  Unbelievable.  And you can bet I'm not the first person they have done this to.  Keep hiring scammers Xfinity and this is they type of "Customer Service" you're providing.  8-9 people unable to resolve a problem and deceptive ratings.  Geez.
