Worst support system ever

About a week ago, I started receiving daily text messages from Xfinity saying there was an issue in my area. After several days of these messages, my internet suddenly stopped working entirely. I later discovered that an Xfinity employee had disconnected and capped off my service, claiming my home was the cause of the area issue. At no point was I notified this would happen or given any explanation.

What followed was three days of exhausting calls through Xfinity’s automated phone system, speaking with multiple representatives (often overseas), just trying to get someone to come out and fix what they had done. Eventually, I was given an appointment that was originally scheduled a week out, then finally moved to the next day.

The only positive part of this experience was the technician who came to my house. He was polite, professional, and quickly identified the issue—something that could have been communicated to me the very day my service was disconnected.

On top of all this, I had to beg for a credit for the days I was without internet, while scrambling to find hotspots so I could continue working.

If you’re considering Xfinity, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This level of poor communication, lack of accountability, and terrible customer service is unacceptable.

This is definitely not the type of service we would like any one of our customers to have, especially when working from home.
