Worst provider ever and biggest scammers
My experience with Xfinity has been one of the worst I've ever had with a company.
When I traded in my phone, I was promised a $1,000 trade-in credit toward my new device. Instead, I ended up paying the full price of the phone because Xfinity failed to process the trade-in correctly. For an entire year, I repeatedly called customer service trying to get the issue resolved. Every time I was told they were "still inspecting" my trade-in. Not once did anyone tell me the real issue—that they needed the IMEI number. Had they simply told me that from the beginning, I could have provided it immediately. Instead, they let the problem drag on until it was too late, leaving me responsible for the entire cost of the phone.
On top of that, I have lost a significant amount of money dealing with both their internet and mobile services. The prices are extremely high, and my internet performance—especially for online gaming—was consistently poor despite paying for high-speed service.
Even after canceling my services, I continued dealing with billing issues. In my opinion, Xfinity has failed to honor what was promised, has provided poor customer service, and has caused unnecessary financial stress. My experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend this company based on how I was treated.
