Worst customer service ever
I live in an area surrounded by decent size towns, and hour away from Chicago and my neighborhood was finally getting internet this summer! I was so excited, so when it was finally available I called and a technician came out on October 30th, I wasn’t surprised when he said we needed a line dug to our house and he submitted the request saying it would take 2-3 weeks: well 2 weeks goes by and I get an email saying it’s delayed for an extra permit needed. I called customer service to get an estimated time frame this would be done in. They said they’d send out a technician to set up our internet right away. After four, five, six times of saying I don’t need a technician I just want a time frame of when this line would be getting dug and she said “oh by the end of the week.” Well the end of the week comes and nothing is happening. I see my neighbors yard being marked so I asked if he was doing my house that day too and he said no I didn’t have a request. AT this point it’s been a month since the first tech came out. So I called again asking what was going on? When is the line being dug? And she says they’ll be out Saturday 12/4 to do it and it’s an all day event. So I got excited. That made sense. Well 12/4 comes around and they sent out another technician to set up our internet and no shit he says you need the cable dug first. I KNOW THIS! This is all I’ve been trying to figure out for now a month since we were originally told. I’ve now been on hold for 30 min with someone else probably my 5th customer service person and it’s going no where. Do your customer service reps even listen? Do you understand? I don’t know how many times I have to say I want an estimated time frame for when our line is getting dug. It’s not a hard question, I don’t want another technician sent out. Our yard is already marked and they say they’re waiting on the markings. I think you guys are just lazy and continue to give customers the run around. I’m F-ing Pissed. I hate this customer service. I hate xfinity. I wish I could go somewhere else but I can’t. 40 min on the phone and I got no where. Get your [Edited: Foul Language] together xfinity

Yup typical standard comcast xfinity policy. Xfinity is running scared as other providers have encroached in their cozy monopoly in cities everywhere take a look at how xfinity is circling the drain and subscribers leave. And to make up for it they make up new charges and squeeze customers that can't leave xfinity.
