Work on outside equipment

When I got home 1:30 pm 12/11/24, there was a man in an extension ladder accessing what I believe is Xfinity equipment. The car parked did not have indication that he was with Comcast/Xfinity. My home gateway was still working. Perhaps I am paranoid but the man was not wearing anything to ID him as working for you. By the time I parked in my garage, he had removed the ladder and left.

reginab1 - I know I'd be reaching out too if I saw something suspicious. I'm happy to read your services are working fine after. I want to ask a few questions to understand better and we'll get to the bottom of this. What does the equipment look like and where was it located?

The person came back and I asked if he worked for Xfinity. He said no. I asked why he was on the pole but I couldn’t understand his answer. On the wire attached to the pole is a white rectangular box which I have seen Xfinity personnel access. There is also a grayish/green long narrow box installed directly on the pole. My internet and electricity run off this pole as does a few other neighbors.
