Work in Area

Why can't xfinity send an email or some kind of communication that you will be working in the area and will not have internet. I work from home and have meetings. Some notice would have been nice to have. I'm not having to hotspot my phone and dealing with that impacting my data. I've stayed with Xfinity for reliability over Brightspeed which has much better pricing. I'm really frustrated with xfinity.

Can you make it policy to notify customers a couple days or even a week in advance?

Thanks,

Chris

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_rnujkm  I work from home as well and understand the importance of having a reliable connection.

Our Xfinity App is a great resource to use to view and check for planned maintenance.

Our apologies for the frustration we caused as we upload the notices via the Xfinity app and text alerts of you're subscribed as soon as the techs locate the issue and our techs works as quickly as possible to resolve it and have customer back online. There's also a section in the app for feedback and this is a good place to hare that information.

Depending on your circumstances our Xfinity Pro device may be of interest for you. I have it myself It's a Wi-Fi extender, and it helps to keep you online during power outages. It's $15 per month. Here's a link with more information https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/xpro

Do you have access to the Xfinity App?
