Won't refund my money

I just need to rant for a moment about Xfinity. I had the most horrible experience with them! Still ongoing. I had internet with them since 2020. It started out as $40/mo but they slowly raised it to $75/mo. I recently switched to T-Mobile internet for just $40/mo so I canceled Xfinity. Of course when I canceled they offered to drop my price down to $45/mo, to which I said nope. Then they still charged me for that month. And a month later they pulled $120 out of my bank account! I was so upset I had forgotten to unlink it. They said it was for "equipment" they sent me that I didn't return. I never received said equipment. I have since spent countless hours on the phone with them getting this fixed. But it's been over a month and they still haven't refunded my money. They promised over and over again they would but it's in a month and I'm still waiting. If you are ever considering them..I HIGHLY recommend NOT using them. And if you do ever cancel with them make sure you remove all of your card and bank account data because I wouldn't put it past them to do this to everyone.

Hello @user_nx4t36, thank you for taking the time out of your day to leave a post. Sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with billing issues. We would love to turn this experience around. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

 To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

@user_nx4t36

If you were in a contract at the time you cancelled internet and didn't have cable [tv] service, you were probably charged an early termination fee.
