Will Xfinity pay for wall repair caused by technician installing new line?

An Xfinity technician is currently on site and he said he needed to make a hole into the wall of my apartment for a new coaxial line. I asked him if xfinity is allowed to do so without approval from the apartments as I know I can't make holes in the walls. He said yes, that its small and they do this often he's now also drilling the outside of the brick wall. Unfortunately, he damaged the wall next to the outlet as it looks like he was trying to pick a spot to drill and decided on different placement in the end after already having started a hole. I'm frustrated because the spot he chose is also quite literally right next to my only entrance so I'll have to move the modem and router there. Very frustrating experience after days of no connection and several outages work in my area.
