Will the xfinity store transfer my contacts and photos to a new phone?

4 yrs ago when we bought new Android phones from Xfinity I was able to take old phones to the Xfinity store and they transferred all our contacts and photos to the new phones seamlessly and quickly.  Do they still do that? I have looked all over the internet and Xfinity forums and cannot find an answer.

Hello and Happy Friday!
Our teammates at our Xfinity stores would be happy to help with getting your new phones and assist you with setting them up!
You can use the following link to check out the nearest store to you, and even schedule an appointment if you'd prefer and available!

Personally, I love to skip any line if there is any, and have an appointment! But you can always feel free to walk in as well! Additionally, we have some pretty amazing support available with our Mobile teams over chat and the phone too! You can call them by dialing

Please let us know if you have any other questions!

@XfinityChelseaA Thanks so very much. I have recently visited my local Xfinity store and did make an appt and got to see someone right away.  After tech support on the phone could not fix a real issue with our phones not connecting to our home wifi  they told me to visit the store. They could not help and tech is coming to the house Monday. If all else fails I guess we will forced to buy new phones which isn't really fair since my tablet and other people's phones connect to our home wifi just fine  but I sure will strongly ask what they can do about the cost of new phones so thought I would get a jump on the data transfer and you satisfied that concern fast and nicely. Thanks again and have a good weekend.

@XfinityMorgan It was fantastic! He was so kind and thorough and upgraded the outdated outside connection and after lots of diagnosis on the phone connection issue and I mean extensive work.....he then swapped out the modem and everything is working perfectly. We are very very happy. Thanks for checking up on it with me.
