Wi-Fi outage frustration

My internet has been out since November 19th and no ETA for it being restored. The surrounding neighborhoods have gotten theirs restored and not sure why our neighborhood hasn’t. I work from home and this is making me have to take  PTO since I’m unable to work without internet. Why hasn’t their been any update or communication as to when this will be restored, it’s making things so much worse. I’m going to look at other internet options due to lack of communication and update. This isn’t how you treat your customers, very disappointed.

The best and fastest place for information about the interruption affecting your area will be the Xfinity app or the Status Center: https://www.xfinity.com/support/status

 

 

In the meantime, you can also visit the Xfinity app or xfinity.com/wifi to see a map of available Xfinity WiFi hotspots.

 

We can also take a look at the address in particular for any additional updates that may not be available through the app or online. 

 

You can do this by sending us a direct message with your full name and service address: 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
