Wifi hotspot - "Your Xfinity Internet service is not active"

When I connect to the "xfinitywifi" network and login with my credentials when prompted it says Your Xfinity Internet service is not active. I'm up to date on all my bill payments so not sure what the issue could be.

Hi there! Are you still experiencing issues with connecting to the hotspot? You can also check to make sure your login is the correct one from your current service. Sometimes old logins from a previous account may not work. 

 

You can check this through the Xfinity app or send us a direct message and we can check for you. 

 

To send a direct message: 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
