Wifi hotspot outside of home - "Your Xfinity Internet service is not active"

I have tried to resolve this through chat so many times, and have even gotten a ticket created, but nothing seems to solve this. For the life of me, I cannot join the XfinityWiFi network even though my credentials are correct and I get them confirmed through a pop-up on the Xfinity app.

Good afternoon @Ecquis, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums with your hotspot issues, we appreciate it. I see you are having trouble joining the XfinityWiFi network even though your credentials are correct. Are you experiencing this issue on multiple devices or just one? Have you also tried restarting your device?
