WiFi Evaluation Link

How can I get the Wifi Evaluation Link resent?  I have had the service for over a year and I can never get customer support to assist in getting that email resent.

Hello @user_14ad19! Thanks for posting to our forums. The evaluation emails are automated, we cannot force send a new link by request. Once the Xfinity xFi service and gateway are activated, the 14-day evaluation will begin.

After the Whole Home evaluation is complete, the results are sent to the primary email address on file. Depending on the results, you’ll receive one of two emails indicating:

  • Our results show that your WiFi is providing reliable coverage where you use it most.

Or

  • Your most recent review shows that your WiFi coverage may benefit from an xFi Pod, available to you at no additional cost. This email will include a link to order an xFi Pod; once completed, the xFi Pod will arrive within five to seven business days.

Six-Month Check-up

If you are not recommended for an xFi Pod, you’ll receive another evaluation in six months. Depending on the results of the second evaluation, you’ll receive one of two emails indicating:

  • Your coverage is still looking great!

Or

  • Your most recent review shows that your WiFi coverage may benefit from an xFi Pod, available to you at no extra cost. This email will include a link to order an xFi Pod at no additional cost.

I have called numerous times and still no evaluation completed or email. I am supposed to be getting 1 gig and am consistently around 100 mbps through my house. Ready to cancel service since no one will finish the evaluation. I should not have to buy the pods. It’s been 5 months and no luck. Stores can’t help either. Glad I didn’t sign up for service at my business where we remained with AT&T.

Greetings, @user_cec057! Thanks for reaching out to us on the Forums! I hope you are having an amazing day! I apologize to hear that you are having issues with reaching the speeds you are paying for. If you are talking about wireless speeds, we do not guarantee those. However, have you attempted to run a speed test through a wired connection to see what speeds you get that way?

Thanks for your reply. I have and it was around 500 but may be due to it being an older computer. We rarely use a desktop computer now. Our phones, iPads and laptops are all pretty new.
Our speeds were better on the 300 mbps plan and we were over 200 on the laptops (wireless). Now I’m lucky to get that one room away from the modem.
Is it possible to get the review done to see if pods would help us increase our speeds? Like everyone, we are working more from home and should get better speeds if we’re paying for it. I have been told numerous times to wait for an email with a review and it’s been over 5 months and we still haven’t gotten the email.

Thanks again for trying to help us with this.
