Wi-Fi equipment

I transferred my wifi to a new property and selected the option for my own router. Will I be receiving the rest of the equipment needed besides the router or will I need to buy everything else?

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us about your recent move. If you selected your own modem you will need to provide that information so that we can activate that for you or you can also add it through the Xfinity app. 

 

If you have other items for example an X1 Box or Xumo Box, then those would be shipped to your new location. 

 

We can check your order with you if you still have doubts just send us a direct message with your full name and service address. 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
