WiFi being incredibly slow with new router

Our new router that Xfinity sent us is incredibly slow and we haven’t had good internet for a week, and won’t see an agent for another 6 days. We work from home and are losing the ability to work despite paying the same rate for completely dysfunctional WiFi, yet we can’t even talk to a live customer support agent. How do we speak to a real person?

@user_nfg2e5 I’m sorry to hear you're experiencing slow connections.

Can you tell us what issues you're facing when you call in?

Our team can also help. I have some questions to ask.

Can you tell me what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Have you had the chance to reset everything?

Is the slow speeds on all devices or just one?

I have a new 2G service, I got at most 1.5G even I'm next to the Xfinity device (integrated modem and router). The signal strength is veyr weak, my upstairs rooms got lower than 300M speed.
