Wifi active but not connectable

My Wifi is active and was working for phones and other devices. I'm able to access through ethernet but now its not showing up as a possible connection for my phone or anything else. I've tried hard resetting it and my phone ect. Is there a fix for this??

Greetings, @user_otl1u6! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about these Wi-Fi issues. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

Can you tell me a little more about what's happening? You mentioned the Wi-Fi is working for phones and other devices, and you're able to connect over Ethernet, but the signal is not showing up as a possible connection. Does that mean you can connect to it if you were connected before, but not with any new devices, or are you having trouble connecting devices that were using it before?

@XfinityJamesC  Yes the old devices have been disconnecting and reconnecting constantly but now cant connect at all and the wifi isnt showing up on the connect list at all now. Ethernet is working just fine and it says nothing wrong but after resetting all devices and hard resetting the modem/messing with cords it still isnt popping up on the list. Nothing can be connected wirelessly as of now

@user_otl1u6 Thank you for providing me with the steps that you have taken with the modem. Since you did a factory reset on the modem, most likely it reset it back to the default settings, including the Wi-Fi name and password. To view and change the Wi-Fi name and password, you can do so from the Xfinity app. Once you open the Xfinity app, click on the Wi-Fi tab, then click on Wi-Fi details. From there, you will click edit Wi-Fi settings at the bottom. I have also provided an article with the steps here: View and change your Wi-Fi network name and password  Let me know if you have any questions.

@user_otl1u6 Thank you for that information. In the Xfinity app, under Edit Wi-Fi settings at the bottom, do you see broadcast Wi-Fi name? Is it turned on?
