why TWO days for planned outage? What do I get for it?

"Our most current information has us doing work in your area on 09/17 and 09/19,"

First message said just 9/17.  new message says 2 days.  THESE ARE BOTH WORK DAYS AND THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

And further reading says this CONTRADICTORY bit:  "We anticipate completing our work within the day."

Which day?   How many hours out?

And as to why you are doing this:   "The goal of the work is to enhance our network to ultimately allow us to deliver multigigabit upload and download speeds. This is just one example of how our next-generation Xfinity network is evolving to get smarter, faster, and more reliable."

... and more costly.       Will my existing speed tier at my existing cost get faster?    Or, will my costs go down for my existing speed?  Either one is acceptable.   Outages for no benefit is not acceptable.

user_4eac96 Thanks for posting on our Forums. With the network enhancements, our technicians estimate that they are able to complete the work needed within the same day, though things can happen to cause slight delays. With the changes to speed tiers, that would be an upgrade to the existing services, so there wouldn't be a requirement to change to a new plan.

"wouldn't be a requirement to upgrade..."   love the positive spin word salad corporate speak!!!

In other words, I GET NOTHING for my inconvenience.   Of course, that's what I assumed and post was primarily to rant.   It better just be one day.  Please fix your email notices.
