Why is XFINITY so unreliable? My internet has gone out for hours 3 days this week.

Seriously! Why is this service so unreliable?

I’m so [Edited: "Language"] at the stupid chat agents and the people that talk on the phone telling me it will be alright. The internet is a utility like our water and electricity, it needs to be the same kind of reliable. The only reason I’m even using XFINITY is because it’s the only one available in my area.

Hey there, user_2a70zv! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us with your recent issue regarding your service not working up to par. We believe all our members should be able to enjoy our products and services with peace of mind, and when this is not the case, it is never an exception for us. You are our priority, and we are here to help get your services working as they should. As a consumer myself, I know how tough it is these days with rising costs on everything we rely on, from necessities, utilities, and entertainment. Has your service been working as of today, or have you noticed if it is still cutting out throughout this morning? Also, are you seeing any irregular blinking from the power light on your modem?

As of right now, the internet is not regulated like a public utility is, such as water, sewer, and electricity.  It does need to be more reliable, however.

Moved to Customer Service as this has nothing to do with Accessibility/disability.
