Why is xfinity customer support so horrible

I have not had voice service for months and finally just gave up and tried to cancel the service and moving to starling or att as xfinity customer support model is to avoid dealing with its customers bu doing ever thing possible not to have a real person speak to you and promise issues will be correct and they will follow up to make sure….allowing lies. I waste hours in frustration talking to bots….. xfinity has had the worst customer service ratings since I can remember and are consistent in keeping this position. This is what’s happen when u have a utility monopoly in areas. When I finally get someone live to cancel they sucker me back in with promises the issue will be corrected and a discount, which I fall for…..now, still no service and have to start the process all over…. call back appt is days away….what a scam.

I give up. I want out.

Anon902885 Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I am sorry to hear about the frustration and service issues you’ve endured over the last few months. It is truly disheartening to know that our support has fallen short of your expectations and that the promises made to you haven't been kept. That is not the experience we want for you, and I completely understand why you feel let down.

I want to change that experience today. I would appreciate the opportunity to look into your voice service issues and ensure your account is handled correctly, without you having to navigate more bots or waiting days for a callback. To get started, please send a Direct Message with your name and address.

  To send a "Direct Message":
  Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears.  The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  Press Enter to send it
