Why is servicing happening during the work day??

I received a text that Xfinity will be doing servicing in my area “to enhance the customer experience” which doesn’t sound like a necessary service that absolutely needs to be done in the middle of the week in the middle of the workday. I only get paid by meeting directly with clients which I do virtually so the internet being out for “maintenance” during my busiest day of the week means that I don’t make any income today. I’ve never had an internet provider do maintenance work during a workday, it’s always been at night or over the weekend. What a ridiculous practice for a service provider to participate in.
