Why is my monthly Internet bill $76 this month when it's been $55 a month as long as I can remember?

See title. Unable to get human on the phone or itemized bill. I'm guessing some promotion conveniently ran out. I would like to speak to someone about reducing this price or canceling my service. Thanks.

Hi there @user_eiulxh! Thank you for visiting our Xfinity Forums for help with your billing. This increase can happen when there is a promotion that expired and we can definitely help with that here. May I please ask that you send us a direct message with your full name and service address? 

 

To send a direct message: 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
