Why is my internet service so - totally - unreliable?

My xfinity internet is continually dropping out at random times throughout the day.  I have been a customer for 15 years and to be honest your internet service is not generally reliable at all.  The only thing worse than your internet service is your customer service, which is almost non-existent.  You have a monopoly in my area on internet service - you have literally been the only company that I can buy "broadband" service from - and its total [Edited: Language].

I spoke with Verizon the other day as I noticed that their work trucks have been on my road installing fiber for their FIOS broadband.  The claim that I will have the option to get connected to their service in the next couple of months for twice the speed and about 1/4 of the cost.

Speaking of cost, with respect to my experience over the last decade, the only thing I can depend on is that Comcast Xfinity will increase my monthly bill about every 3-4 months with no clear explanation why.  The only reasonable assumption that I can make (given the terrible level of reliability and complete lack of customer service) is that your keep raising my costs because of one simple reason: you can.  Your attitude towards your customers is one of total disrespect.

A pricing strategy that only a monopoly fueled by greed would impose on their customers.

Will you ever fix the poor reliability, non-existent customer service, or predatory pricing?

I doubt it.

Competiton is coming and your monopoly is ending in Western Loudoun.

If greed is your only corporate value, it might be time to reflect on your culture and consider prioritizing your customers.
