Why is it so hard to start service on time?

I moved in to a brand new fiber ready building complex (built 2023) on 08/01. 
im paying for xfinity internet as a part of my utility package but the latest xfinity has agreed to setup internet is 08/06. I work from home. This is the worst internet experience I’ve had, don’t you guys realize that people work from home. Internet is like water and electricity now   If you can’t schedule setup the day of lease start at least give us a self service option. (Btw my apartment building has a exclusivity like agreement with xfinity so we pay internet bill. As part of rent)
