Why is it absolutely impossible to talk to anyone who is smarter than a rock.

I'm coming on maybe 16 hours of phone calls to Xfinity because I was put into a special package plan. 

This may be good news because I'm finding out after all this that my phone number was never ported over to the Galaxy A14 that I was sent. 
while this special would have cut $30 off my account, I feel their absolute and complete ineptness of EVERY CSR IN YOUR COMPANY, I may have dodged a bullet.   I can't imagine actually being stuck with Xfinity as a cellular carrier after all this. 

It's the most simple thing to do, get an IMEI number, port the old number to the new Galaxy and get a paying customer.

After 16 hours of phone calls trying to get this plan to actually work the reps can't actually look into seeing if a number has been ported. They don't have the skills to know if service is assigned to the account.

They also never announce the call and from whom to the next rep they transfer you to. 

TODAY..   I was asking if my number was ported over for this new CONTRACT phone for 2 years, the rep says "It's with AT&T, you have to talk to our prepaid" and promptly transferred me to AT&T.. well they didn't say it was transferring me out, so I find it totally disturbing that this person had no clue what I was asking.  

Turns out, they never ported the number. 

1) the phone NEVER worked.
2) the phone does not work now. 
3) since the number was being ported, and that was NOT done... I want out. 

We are 2 weeks into this promotion.    I will be sending the phone back using the Fed Ex ticket. 

I expect your team to confirm we can remove this off my plan without a problem.   Again it was DEPENDING on porting the number over. 

Yet after 16 hours on the phone with your team, who every single person proved utterly and totally worthless, I think we need this undone. 

If you can make it work, you got one shot.  If you can't, I need to know how to send this back and not have this attached to CORE services as a package.

We're on the edge of me feeling like this company owes me more than just a working phone.   

How can we end this phone deal since it never worked and doesn't work?
