Why does Xfinity’s customer service number? Keep hanging up on me

Every time I call Xfinity’s customer service number and give them all of my information up to my checking account number and they tell me there I’m verified however they disconnect me instead of connecting me to an agent. a repair man was out yesterday and changed all of the wires outside however, my TV is not working at all now
