Why does Xfinity have THE WORST customer service!?
I have an issue with my signal that is causing my internet to drop constantly. This is a huge problem because I work from home and am having to reboot my modem every 30 minutes, and forget using streaming services. I have been trying to reach a real person for the past 3 days to schedule a tech appointment, and after over 30+ failed calls and chats with the xfinity assistant, I was FINALLY connected to a real person.
The agent was extremely nice and told me she had scheduled me a tech appointment for today (chat was yesterday). I asked her when she scheduled it for and was told that the tech would call me sometime today to figure out a time. Guess what? No one ever called or showed up.
I am so beyond frustrated that I am heavily considering paying the (ridiculous) cancellation fee to finally be free of Xfinity. Why is it borderline impossible to speak to a real person? Every single time I tried to get past the xfinity assistant it either told me that all agents were busy and to try again later (wouldn't even let me wait in a queue), or just said it couldn't help me and disconnected. I was FINALLY able to schedule an appointment for Monday (after 3 days of trying), so we will see if anyone actually shows up this time.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Xfinity's customer service, if you can even call it that. I got to the point where I tried to contact one of the stores near me, but all of the store numbers are listed as the customer service line. Do better.
