Why does the Xfinity mobile app [Edited] now!

Every time I try to go in and pay my bill I get an error message, I mean every time!  I know they want the money to keep the service on!

To help narrow this down and get it fixed, can you tell me exactly what the error message says when you try to make a payment? That detail will help me pinpoint what’s causing the issue. Also, have you already tried any of the following?
  • Closing the app completely and reopening it
  • Making sure the app is updated to the latest version
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the Xfinity app
  • Make a payment online following the details in this step here.

Well, I did send a response back to that email that was sent to me, but apparently it didn’t work so it doesn’t work at all. I did all the things that you mentioned in your message so the response that I keep getting is it looks like something went wrong and then it asked me if I want to reload it. I reload it time and time again for it to still come up with the same message and then saying that there is a problem every time I go back, there’s always a problem. When is this gonna be fixed!

user_m89uop, Thanks for sharing these details. I can certainly undersand caused by that looped “something went wrong” message, especially after you’ve already tried everything. To help move this forward quickly:
  • Does this error happen only in the Xfinity app, or also when you try to pay at this link here: (https://customer.xfinity.com/billing) using a web browser?
  • Are you connected to WiFi or cellular data when this happens?
  • Have you checked if this happens on more than one device?

If you need to make a payment right away, the quickest workaround is using a web browser instead of the app. Once I know whether the browser shows the same error, I will be able to investigate this further for a fix, so you’re not stuck in this loop.

I’m WiFi trying to it I tried to pay on computer and I got an error message also🤷🏾‍♀️
