Why does it take four days to get an appointment for a total outage
Yesterday we had a storm. The power did not go off. My current Technicolor modem is offline. I cannot get it to reboot. It basically is in the flashing yellow light status. It appears as if there is an issue with the modem. I have to. I called in for a consultation/appointment. The appointment is 4 days out. I have been a customer for 35 years. And I find this to be completely unsatisfactory.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_rkfk8q thanks for being a long-time customer for decades! There is more than one reason why your modem may be offline. I wish I could answer that in advance, but our technician will be able to identify and resolve the issue. Appointments are booked as we receive them so the schedule in your area is simply busy. When's the exact time and day of your appointment?

10 days here. My internet stopped working Tuesday and there are no outages here. My neighbor however had a fence going in at the same time and Comcast has been out here fixing others lines the past few weeks due to issues. I pay for the highest tier service, never missed a payment. 10 days of no internet in 2026 is kind of [EDIT: Language] for what I pay. Only to be told by a rep that it’s not their problem and if I wanted immediate service I should be on Comcast business. You are a utility company, do better.
