Why do I have to restart my modem multiple times per day?

Starting four days ago I have had to constantly restart my modem, it is seriously starting to [Edited: language] me off because it is stopping me from doing the one thing that helps me relax, which is gaming.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
