Why can't I get any answers on when my service will be installed?

I signed up for service on 6/12/26...since then, a tech has been to my condo TWICE, and each time he left because he said the fiber had not been run yet.  It's been almost a month and I'm still without internet.  I have reached out to the rep who signed me up...no response.  I've reach out to chat...no response.  I've spoken to customer service, who frankly, have no idea about what's going on.  The last one "put a note on my account" and assured me that the tech would install when he came out.  Of course he didn't, because the fiber hasn't been run yet!  Why can't I get any answers???

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@jlw6031 Thank you for taking the time out of your day to reach out to us here on Forums, Thank you for reaching out and sharing what's been happening. I can see why the lack of information has been frustrating, especially after multiple appointments and several attempts to get an update.

We'll need to review the account and any associated work orders to see what information is available regarding the status of your installation. Since we can't access or discuss account-specific details publicly, please send us a Direct Message with your name and service address.

Once we have that information, we can review the notes and provide any updates that are available.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
