Why cant I get a human on the phone

How come its easy to get a human on the phone if I want to set-up new service but then when I want to ask any technical questions its nearly impossible to get a live human. All Xfinity wants to do is reset my modem... I dont need to do that, ive already done, quit telling me to rest my modem.

I love the Xfinity product but despise the customer service as pect of the business.

my voice internet and cable are all down, have been for over 12 hours. When I try to call I'm told it's because it's a severe weather issue, which by the way I'm told by a robot. When I asked to speak to an actual person, I'm given no options in which to do so. Is this what I pay $220 a month for? Make that $220 a month for the past 18 years? And, it's been 65° and sunny all day today. I've had cable and all my services during and after the storm 3 days ago. Why would I not have it today?
