Why can't I change my plan online
We pay almost $300 a MONTH for the privilege of being told "Sorry but you cannot change your plan online"... UNLESS I want to UPGRADE my plan and pay for more stuff... THEN it works just fine.
I do not want to talk to anyone... I do not want to DM anyone... I have no desire to do "peer-to-peer" discussions... I just want to be able to login to my account and make changes. This is not that tough. As a software developer, I know it is on purpose... the ONLY reason for this "Sorry" message is to force, coerce, cajole, (place thesaurus word here) users into continuing to pay exorbitant prices because Xfinity/Comcast has a virtual monopoly on most areas.
This is the same thing SiriusXM does. You cannot cancel your subscription without calling customer service. It is an attempt to maintain you as a customer and they would not do it if it did not work.

The site does allow you to make some changes to your account as you have found, but you are correct that our team is here to help with making most changes. This way we can review your account with you and make sure you are getting what you want and have a full picture of what the change will look like.
