Where's my gift card

I thought I posted this last evening, but I can't find it. I was promised a $500 prepaid visa card if I signed up for both internet and mobile service back in January. I told the sale's agent over the phone I just wanted internet and he said that was fine and I would get a $250 visa gift card. However, when I went into the store to get my equipment the salesman told me that I could sign up for their mobile account, get 2 free phones, and pay for their smallest package and would save on my internet service because of the bundle and would then be eligible for the $500 gift card and could cancel my mobile service after a year when the discount expired.  I agreed (who wouldn't when you're offered a $500 gift card and savings on your service), paid the taxes on the cell phones and was told it would be 6-8 weeks before getting the visa gtift card.

Fast fwd to now, when I called to find out where my gift card was, I was told that there is no record of that incentive and I there is nothing that can be done.  I truly feel like the salesman frauded me and probably got a commission for signing me up for a mobile account I didn't want and don't use, with a false promise.

@jpetitti36 hopefully @XfinityJohnG was able to explain to you why you haven't received that gift card.  A couple of things here....if you did qualify for one, you wouldn't have gotten it in 6 - 8 weeks.  You would have had to keep the service for 90 days without any changes of any kind and if you met that condition after the 90 days, it would take 6 - 8 weeks or less to get that card.
